School Closure Affects Thousands of Students

Darchula/ March 9

Nearly 5,000 students of the district have affected by three-day closure of schools in the district.

 

The schools remained closed from March 8 after the call by Relief Quota Teachers District Struggle Committee.

 

The closure was called by the committee demanding transformation of the relief quota into regular one, amenities equal to regular teachers, making them permanent by fulfilling required procedures among others, committee coordinator Krishna Raj Joshi said.
