Man Abducted From House
Udaypur/ March 9
An unidentified group has abducted Kapil Khatiwada, 32, of Rampur Toksila VDC-7 on early morning of March 9.
According to Khatiwada's sister Khina, her elder brother was abducted as he was sleeping on the veranda along with other family members.
She added that her younger brother Ramesh, who was in Biratnagar got a call from Khatiwada's mobile. An unidentified man spoke at the other end claiming that Khatiwada was in his captivity.
Ramesh is said to have got another call at around 6 am. This time Khatiwada himself spoke saying the dealing was on and he would arrived home by the evening if freed.
The identity of the abductors has not been known.
When asked, CDO Madhusudan Burlakoti said they were trying to establish whether it was the case of abduction.
Meanwhile, Katiwada's family has asked the abductors to release him unconditionally claiming he was all innocent.
