Fraudulent Compensation Receiver Arrested

Chin Bahadur Tamang of Nawalpur VDC-6 who deceitfully received the compensation amount from the District Administration Office as the one disappeared by the state at the time of armed conflict has been arrested by police on March 4.

 

Tamang who was arrested for some days by the army at the time of armed conflict on charge of his involvement in escalating terror and looting at Boudha area in Kathmandu as the fake Maoist, had been living in Kathamdu since his release. However, following the confirmation by the all party meeting in Nawalpur VDC that he was disappeared by the state, his wife had received Rs. 100000 from the District Administration Office as the compensation. Police say preparation is underway to take legal action against him.
