Unidentified Group Shoots Businessman

The cloth businessman Bishnudayal Gupta, 54, of Lalbandi VDC-1 has been severely injured by the bullet shot by an unidentified group on March 5 as the victim was trying to enter into his house on his motorbike.

 

The victim sustained injuries to his left arm, palm and the nose due to the shrapnel of the bullet abruptly shot by a group of two persons who appeared there on foot. As per the victim, the shooters tried to take away his motorbike but in vain. The motorbike being taken away by the shooters fell down as he shoved it, so, the shooters had to flee away without. Following the primary treatment at Lalbandi Sub-Health Post the victim was taken to Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital in Birgunj for the further treatment. The victim himself stated that his health situation is normal.
