INSEC supports explosion victim

Victims of an explosion that took place in Malakheti VDC-8 have received financial support at the initiation of INSEC Far Western Region Office.

 

Victims of the incident received medical expense worth Rs 58,418 from Handicap International on February 5 at the initiation of INSEC.

 

Coordinator of INSEC Far Western Regional Office Khadak Raj Joshi handed over Rs. 26, 217 to Lal Bahadur Bohara of Malakheti VDC-8 and Rs. 15,159 to Tek Bahadur Saud of the same place. Similarly, Joshi provided expense of emergency treatment of victims worth Rs 17,042 to Padma Hospital of Attariya.

 

Three people died on the spot while eight injured when a grenade bomb exploded in front of residence of local Harka Bahadur Mahatara on September 6.

 

The victims underwent treatment at Padma Hospital, Nepalgunj Medical College Kohalpur, Kathmandu and Lucknow of India. Bohara and Saud requested for further assistance as they need further treatment.
