One Killed in Police Action

An unidentified man has been killed in exchange of fire with the APF patrol team in Balabakhar VDC-5 on February 5 around 3 am.

 

According to inspector Bhuwaneshwar Tiwari of District Police Office, a team from Yadukuwa Base Camp came under fire from mango ochard at Balabakhar VDC-5. The man, about 35 years of age was shot dead in the retaliatory firing. He has been shot at chest and leg.

 

Tiwari added a mobile phone recovered from the site had written Nawal Yadav on it. He further said information had been circulated to police units in Siraha district and nearby areas and media asking people to come to identify the body.

 

The body has been kept at Janakpur Zonal Hospital for post mortem.
